WWE Responds To Allegations Of Sexually Inappropriate Behavior By WWE Superstar Randy Orton
Saturday, August 11, 2018
Six years ago, former WWE writer and current MLW CEO Court Bauer described allegations of sexually inappropriate behavior by WWE Superstar Randy Orton, from his tenure there.
On Friday, a professional wrestling fan asked Bauer on Twitter if the allegations were true and Bauer said yes.
The allegations were described on episode 49 of the MLW Radio podcast for VIP subscribers. Bauer told an explicit story of Orton pulling out his penis in front of new writers, touching himself and then demanding they shake his hand.
“For every new writer that would show up, he'd come in the room, put his hand down his pants, pull out his dick, touch himself, then say “I’m Randy Orton, shake my hand…oh you don’t want to shake my hand? You’re big leaguing me? That’s (expletive deleted) up man. Should I tell Vince and Steph you won’t shake Randy Orton’s hand?”
Beauer described how the writers would begin sweating and backing up into the corner of the room. Meanwhile, Orton's penis was still hanging out, as he 'cut a promo' on the writer. He noted how Orton was very intense, so you could never tell if he was mad or not.
Bauer mentioned that Orton tried to do it with him the first day he was there for TV, but current WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon walked into the room and Orton quickly put his penis away.
Bauer indicated that he was surprised Orton was never accused of sexual harassment because he allegedly did this the entire time Bauer was with the company, over a decade ago.
Orton hasn't responded to a request to discuss the matter on the record, however WWE did issue a response to Barn Burner’s Brad Shepard:
“WWE is looking into the matter.”
