The banged-up Toronto Raptors are protecting the home court record which now improved to 16-2 in the Air Canada Centre. They are protecting an amazing record in the last 7 games which has them 7-1.

The Raptors had the buzzsaw in their eyes from when tip-off started they continued to pour into buckets after buckets. Let us get something straight right now, this Cleveland Cavs team looks lost in transition this week by taking some hefty losses by the Minnesota Timberwolves 127-99 then losing tonight to the Toronto Raptors in the same dramatic fashion 133-99.

The Raptors have basically erased the two times they played this Cavs teams in the playoffs with such beatdown, they have made this a statement win.

The rumour going around is that Cavs players have been in Toronto since Tuesday night privately partying at a location called Pick6six, Drake's new restaurant which is going to be opening soon.

Another potential rumour going around the league is that teams are looking at the Raptors younger talent to spark plug some trades, these names are Delon Wright, Jakob Poeltl, Pascal Siakam, OG Anunoby, Norman Powell and Fred VanVleet.

Team president Masai Ujiri spoke about the matter and said it is unlikely the Raptors make a splash and deal one of these before the deadline which is February 8th.

Fred VanVleet had a career night with 22 points, 4 rebounds with 4 assists along with 1 steal. This is a character building moment for this young stud who got his first start playing for Raptors 905 team.

Pascal Siakam & C.J. Miles added 16 points, Jonas Valanciunas 15, Norm Powell added 14 points and Demar had 13 points, such a solid night for this Raptors team making a statement to the Cleveland Cavaliers saying they are the team to be a reckoning with.
