“Its been a long, long time coming”.. who do you think sang it better? Veronica Harris or Sam Cooke? It doesn’t matter, what matters is that the Raptors have finally dug the spurs into the ground. Outscoring them 86-83 for the first time since 2015!

The wranglers didn’t have a full roster in tonights game with Gay, Ginobli & Leonard all out due to injury. One of the leagues biggest upset is Kawhai, who is out for the rest of the season, only having play 9 games.

The Raptors showed no signs of slowing down, especially the Lithuain thunder ,with yet another double double game, 15pts,11rebs INCLUDING having back to back games having made a three. JV has over 37% this season from 3-pt range. Maybe he can be in the 3-pt contest next year? Mhmm…..

With San Antonio up by one after the first. Dwayne and the boys didn’t seem worried. They kept their cool and went into their locker room at half time feeling confident, thanks to their 2018 all-star starter, Derozan sinking a floater at the buzzer making it a 9-0 run heading into the second half. 44-37.

Even though it was a low scoring game, keeping all points under 30 in each quarter, with the whole team stepping up this past week I am very confident in the Raptors making it pat the first round this years

Tonight the Raptors head to Minnesota to challenge Jimmy Butler & our beloved Canucks; Wiggins & KAT. I personally cannot wait to watch this game and I know Jen, from our sports podcast, the Blaze also can’t wait. The game is at 8:00pm, so you still have enough time to do your weekend errands, make dinner, grab a nice cold beer and enjoy the game- I know I’ll be!
