NOT ANY GIVEN SUNDAY

September 25, 2017

This was not any given Sunday, sure football was on the television but the NFL looked different. This NFL organization had just been attacked by the 45th President of the United States – "Wouldn't you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, 'Get that son of a bitch off the field right now, out, he's fired. He's fired,'" Trump said.

Around The CFL:
Green leads Tiger-Cats to late victory, while Bombers boost hold on second

September 25, 2017

Week 14 in the CFL saw plenty of interesting results. Let’s break it all down.

Hamilton Tiger-Cats 24, B.C. Lions 23: East Division teams have historically struggled in B.C. Place, especially in late-starting games, so the 2-9 Ticats looked in trouble against the 6-6 Lions in a game that didn’t kick off until after 11 p.m. Eastern Friday. However, they came up witn an impressive victory, and a lot of that was thanks to newly-signed running back Alex Green.

NFL Picks - week 3

September 23, 2017

In the NFL winning weeks can be few and far between at time so we will take out back to back profitable weeks and aim for three in a row!

Dallas -3 at Arizona: The Dallas Cowboys were embarrassed in Denver last week. However the score did not really reflect the game. Denver hate late turn overs including a late 100 plus yard pick 6 by Talib. The truth is Dallas is a very solid football team and will bounce back.

The NHL today - A lack of vision

August 22, 2017

It's hard to imagine the NHL becoming the most popular sport in the world. It's just not realistic. The cost of playing, the ice required – these are elements that make it very difficult for many people to play. It's only natural that there is less interest in a sport that many people don't grow up playing – and while we don't expect hockey to be the powerhouse of the NFL or the global force of the NBA, a lack of leadership and vision at the top of the helm is becoming hard to ignore

Making Sense of the Leafs Line-up Conundrum

The Toronto Maple Leafs' have had quite the offseason after one of the team’s most memorable seasons in recent history.
