31 teams, 4 divisions, 2 conferences and 1 ultimate goal. So many possibilities, yet, the season only starts in a couple of weeks.

Central division:

Chicago Blackhawks: After failing to reach the second of the playoffs for the second year in a row, Chicago made a bunch of changes, but can it be too much ? Sometimes less is more…

Colorado Avalanche: What the hell will Joe Sakic do to boost this messy franchise, who only gathered 48 points last season? In any case, Duchene needs to be gone… SOON!

Dallas Stars: Will the one of the busiest team in the NHL this offseason finally reach its potential? For what it’s worth, Radulov is quite the entertainer…

Minnesota Wild: With brand new extensions in their pocket, the young core of players in Minnesota are ready to take the lead, but will it be enough to make a deep run in the playoffs? By the way, top 1 jersey design from Adidas.

Nashville Predators: With the retirement of their captain, Mike Fisher and Ryan Johansen’s monster extension, will the Preds repeat and throw the craziest Stanley Cup parade ever seen? Nope, no chance…

St-Louis Blues: Will it still be an off year, or the Blues have enough depth scoring to support the Tarasenkshow and survive the, now even more competitive, central division ? Who cares, the starting goaltender is … Jake Allen ?!

Winnipeg Jets: After failling to make the playoffs, again, the Jets are hoping that their high-end prospects, especially in net, take the next step and bring the playoff frenzy to Windypeg? Worst case scenario, Steve Mason will take over the starting job. Oh wait…

Pacific division:

Anaheim Ducks: Can the aging forwards of the powerful Ducks lead the franchise to a Stanley Cup final again, especially with their group of young and talented D? Ryan Miller is the best insurance if John Gibson doesn’t deliver.

Arizona Coyotes: What’s next for the Yotes’ general manager John Chayka? After all, he’s the most interesting person in the building.

Calgary Flames: After enjoying the sun in Arizona, Mike Smith is finally with ateam that can go deep in the playoffs, how will he handle the situation? Remeber the Tampa disaster…

Edmonton Oilers: What’s Connor McDavid’s ceiling ? Stanley Cup and Conn Smyth…

Los Angeles Kings: What will the new management team do to rejuvenate this aging and perishing team? Close, but out of the playoffs… again.

San Jose Sharks : What kind of year will Brent Burns have after winning his first Norris trophy? Maybe a Rocket Richard trophy for Joe Pavelski… nah!

Vancouver Canucks : Did somebody say draft lottery? Every hockey fan in Vancouver I gues…

Vegas Golden Knights: EVERYTHING! The whole situation Vegas is a question, but mostly attendance. Will there be more fans from the visiting team or the local population will answer Gary Bettman’s unexpected call to support hockey, again, in the South of the United States.
